Nocturne - Guitar Music of the 19th Century
Drew Henderson’s recital of solo guitar music straddles the closing decades of the “classical” era and the early years of the “romantic” period, roughly demarcated by the birth dates of the composers—eighteenth or nineteenth centuries. His program moves backwards in time from Regondi and Coste, born in the early nineteenth century, to Legnani and Paganini, born in the last decades of the eighteenth.
